One of the things people diagnosed with asthma are asked
to do is become aware of the times when they have attacks and try to see connections.
That connection may be found in a person's home.
For example, someone who is symptom-free at work but begins
coughing a few hours after getting home might assume that something in the
home environment is an asthma trigger.
