Omar Darr, M.D. - Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine/Arthroscopic Surgery

As a specialist in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, my goal is to help people of all ages stay healthy and active. Most conditions can be successfully treated without surgery. When surgery is indicated many of the procedures I perform are done arthroscopically through small incisions. I received my undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts where I was a member of the football team. I earned my Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and then went on to complete an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. I have advanced training through a fellowship in Sports Medicine obtained from the University of Rochester in New York. As a member of the Advanced Healthcare Sports Medicine team, I look forward to helping you maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I am also an instructor at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons learning center where I teach arthroscopic surgery techniques to other orthopaedic surgeons. Away from the clinic, I enjoy many sports and spending time with my wife.
