In my practice, I strive to combine evidence-based science with the art of medicine. I encourage my patients to make a firm commitment to improving their health and focus on giving them the tools necessary to do so. I received my M.D. in 1998, from the Medical College of Wisconsin. I completed my Family Medicine internship and residency at the University of Virginia. I also completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at The Ohio State University. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine and will have a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Sports Medicine. Professionally, I practice non-surgical sports medicine for athletes and non-athletes alike. I have extensive experience as the team physician for high school and college athletes. I also perform some osteopathic manipulation for back and neck problems. Away from the clinic, I enjoy time with my family. I like hunting and fishing, as well as horseback riding.

Treating orthopaedic problems requires the combined efforts of the physician, patient and physical or occupational therapist. I believe patients respond best when they fully understand their problem and treatment options. I received my M.D. from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. I completed my residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and my fellowship in Upper Extremity Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. I am Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and have a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Providing care for all orthopaedic problems, my practice focuses on operative and non-operative treatment of shoulder, elbow and hand problems. I use both traditional “open” approaches and less invasive arthroscopic treatment, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release. To contact the Good Hope Road Center Orthopaedic Department directly, call 414-247-4700.
