Title: Acupuncture for Menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy

Description: Join us for a program on the benefits of acupuncture related to women's health issues, featuring a licensed acupuncturist. The program will be repeated every Wednesday until October 29.
Title: Teenage Girls and Body Image: Balancing Nutrition and Exercise

Description: This interactive discussion, led by Dr. Darcy Fechner, will address the many pressures felt by teenage girls related to body image. The importance of keeping a good balance of nutrition and exercise to maintain ideal body weight and overall health during the teen years (and beyond) will be stressed. Moms and dads, bring your daughters! Daughters, bring your mom and dad!
Title: Healthy Pregnancy Series

Location: Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee Campus, Elizabeth Ann Seton Education Center
Cost/Fee: $15/couple
Description: The healthy pregnancy three-class series is designed for first-time parents to be taken in the first four to five months of pregnancy. The topics covered will include the physical and emotional changes that take place during pregnancy, nutrition, prenatal tests, exercises to improve posture, infant feeding, selecting a pediatrician, day care, and car seat selection. During the course the expectant parents will meet with a registered nurse, registered dietician, and a physical therapist. The series is repeated every other month.
Title: Breast Cancer Occurrence in Young Women

Description: Join us for an important program designed to increase awareness about the increasing rate of breast cancer now being diagnosed and treated in younger women. Learn about the different testing techniques that are available and options for successful treatment from surgeon Dr. Lyle Henry and Dr. Patrick McWey, interventional breast radiologist. You will also have a unique opportunity to speak with Tracy, one of our patients ... a remarkable young woman and breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed at an early age.
